This is the eighth Album from the wonderful Kate Bush. It was originally released in 2005 after a 12 year break from the music industry and was her first double album
In the album cover featured above, what at first glance appears as the reflection of a mountain range at sunset, is actually the waveform of a blackbird song superimposed on a photographic image
The second disc, subtitled A Sky of Honey, is all about being outdoors on a single Summer’s day, beginning at Dawn and ending with the next Sunrise. The songs are saturated with birdsong including blackbirds singing in the Dawn Chorus, as well as references to the sky and sunlight and sea
