A new initiative from the Wildlife Trusts – Nature Counts

A new online recording system for nature enthusiasts. Here you can report wildlife sightings which will help your local Wildlife Trusts make better, evidence based conservation choices in your area. It will also give a clearer representation of local flora and fauna; where they are thriving or declining. All data will feed into the National Biodiversity Network’s database, NBN Atlas, so your records will be used by ecologists and scientists across the country to inform national policy about nature and our environmnet and national assessements of biodiversity

Let your local Trust know if you have seen something common or rare in one of the Wildlife Trust’s nature reserves or elsewhere in your area. Just submit your photos. You don’t have to be a member
